Ambassadors

The Spirit Behind Our Community

At the heart of our reason for being is an advocacy campaign for all disabled and neurodiverse learners. This campaign creates a platform for the voices and choices of such diverse learners accessing Higher Education throughout the UK. Our Ambassadors Programme is designed to strengthen these choices and voices through peer-to-peer support in networks across the country, enabling learners to share feedback and support strategies and gain from each other. Our Ambassadors are disabled and/or dyslexic students who can offer advice and advocacy for other neurodiverse adult learners in HE.

DnA Ambassadors provide empathy, support and the celebration of learning difference by running workshops and safe places for other neurodiverse learners, which helps foster wellbeing and academic success. DnA 's ambassadors are working today to become the pioneers of teaching and Assistive Technology support tomorrow. Through emphasising mutual support and wellbeing, shaping policy, campaigning and fostering a sense of shared identity in diversity, our Ambassddors work every day to provide support for tutors and teachers well as each other, unlocking learning and teaching potential in an unprecedented way.
