Accessibility for all - with free Open Source technology

This is a great workshop for any University, College, Sixth form and school. This workshop looks at a wide range of Open Source assistive technology that is available for anyone to use at no cost.

The focus is about making assistive technology accessible to everyone. Whilst there are great off-the-shelf assistive packages, they are often not affordable for international students, students facing difficulties accessing DSA support, colleges and schools.

This workshop equips the participants with the awareness of the Open Source software that is available to disabled students who cannot access the DSA or funding to purchase off-the-shelf software.

These Open Source packages are also really useful tools for DSA students, as these tools can be used to complement the DSA software they may have received.
